Lynne Hitchin BSc (Hons) Acupuncture, Lic.Ac, M.BAcC, VTCT

Lynne has been working with Ely Complementary Health Centre as a Massage Therapist since qualifying in 2005, offering Remedial, Therapeutic and Indian Head Massage. Combining deep tissue techniques with sensitivity for injured or inflamed areas, she is able to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Wanting to expand her knowledge and skills, she undertook a BSc degree in Acupuncture and qualified in 2010. Her studies included Five Element and TCM (Traditional Chinese medicine) styles of Acupuncture, as well as Tuina (Chinese massage) and Trigger point (myofascial) needling. As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, she adheres to their codes of ethics and professional conduct, and is committed to continual professional development.

Lynne enjoys working with patients to devise the most appropriate and effective treatment plan for their complaint using her own skills of Acupuncture, Massage or Trigger point needling combined with massage. She works closely with other practitioners at the Complementary Health Centre when a combination of different skills may be of benefit to a patient.
