Katie McLernon BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP, HCPC reg, DMA Level 1

Katie graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011 with a degree in Physiotherapy.

She has worked in the NHS and privately since qualifying and has gained a broad knowledge base, but has now specialised in musculoskeletal problems and injuries. Katie's real interest is treating chronic back and hip pain.

Through careful assessment and looking at the way her patients move, Katie can put together a plan focusing on improving muscle function, thereby reducing pain for her patients.

Katie also has a qualification in teaching pilates and is extremely passionate about its usefulness in treating chronic pain. She absolutely believes that her pilates knowledge is the most useful tool she has, not just for treating a patient's pain, but also reducing the risk of it returning.

With a love of running and cycling, Katie can fully appreciate the want that her patients have to return to sport and activity as soon as possible. Katie always takes her patient's end goals in to account when treating them and she will work closely with you to help you achieve these.
