Clinical Psychology

Psychological therapy provides a collaborative space to explore personal difficulties in a safe and confidential setting. We aim to help you better understand your feelings in the context of your past experiences, in order to reduce distress and make changes in the present.

Clinical psychologists train to doctorate level in the UK and are registered with the Health and Social Care Professionals Council. They generally draw on more than one theory/method of therapy. These theories/methods act as a roadmap for psychologists: they guide them through the process of understanding clients and developing solutions.
