Glynnis Wilkinson FSSCH, Dip Pod Med, MBChA, HCPC Registered

I have been working at ECHC for over 20 years now and before that I was a Staff Nurse. I started my training in 1981 at The Royal Free Hospital in London. I then became a renal dialysis nurse at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for a short period before working at Papworth Hospital for 10 years where I was a Senior Staff Nurse.

In 1997 I retrained as a Podiatrist in Maidenhead and have enjoyed this career ever since. I regularly attend training courses and go to lectures to keep myself up to date with new technologies, theories and medical information. I am fully registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, which is a governing body to ensure its members are insured, educated and up to date in all aspects.

On your first appointment you will be asked to complete a medical history sheet, then I will do a foot health check and invite you to tell me of any foot problems you have so that we can discuss a treatment plan. I will then give you the appropriate chiropody/podiatry treatment. On consecutive appointments I will evaluate the treatment plan, and then discuss with you any changes to be made to maximise your comfort and foot health.
