It has now been 22 years since I qualified and 20 years since the practice at Sextry House was formed.

The emphasis has shifted from being an osteopathic sole practitioner to being a very well developed and integrated complementary health centre.

In its strictest sense we we are no longer a complementary health centre but a combined one. The presence of acupuncturists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, massage therapists, hypnotherapists, counsellors and psychotherapists means that we have the best of all worlds at our fingertips.

Matthew Green BSc. Hons. OST

Matthew qualified as an Osteopath in 1994 and has clinics in Cambridgeshire and Kent, where he also lectures in Osteopathy. He has been with Ely Complementary Health Centre for over ten years and has clinics on Wednesday afternoons and evenings and Friday mornings.

Moraig Goodwin BSc. Hons. OST

Moraig Goodwin graduated from The College of Osteopaths in 2007. She joined Ely Complementary Health Centre shortly afterwards to run a dedicated clinic for children, and now treats patients of all ages from the newborn to the very elderly.

Dwaine Ford BSc. Hons. Ost Med

Dwaine graduated as an Osteopath in 2007 and works in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Leicestershire. He is able to use Cranial Sacral and Myofascial Needling techniques in his treatments.

Dwaine trained in animal osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Animals in Wantage.

Richard Harvey

Richard graduated as an Osteopath in 2008 from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and works in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

He has been at Ely Complementary Health Centre since 2011 and has clinics on Monday evenings, Thursday afternoons and evenings and alternate Saturday mornings.

Sally Beazleigh DO

Sally graduated from the Eurpoean School of Osteopathy in 1991 and has worked in several clinics in the Cambridge area during the last 20 years. She now works in Huntingdon and in 2017 rejoined us at Ely Complementary Health Centre having previously worked here in the late 1990's.

Michael Balshaw BSc (Hons) M.B.Ac.C

Michael is a practitioner of Chinese medicine specialising in acupuncture and massage. His interest in both began whilst living and working in Japan. Michael has worked in various areas of the health sector. He worked in the physiotherapy department at St George's Hospital in London and in 1999 was approached by St Bartholomew's Hospital, in London to establish a massage service.

Lynne Hitchin BSc (Hons) Acupuncture, Lic.Ac, M.BAcC, VTCT

Lynne has been working with Ely Complementary Health Centre as a Massage Therapist since qualifying in 2005, offering Remedial, Therapeutic and Indian Head Massage. Combining deep tissue techniques with sensitivity for injured or inflamed areas, she is able to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Before embarking on his acupuncture career, Tony worked for a number of years as a Metropolitan Police officer. After deciding to pursue a more balanced lifestyle he moved to Ely and spent 3 years balancing family life with studying for his BSc; passing with first class honours. He now practices traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) acupuncture for a broad range of illness and injuries with a particular interest in emotional problems and unexplained illness or pain.

Vaida is a fully qualified Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist. She studied at the London School of Sports Massage and has gained a BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy. She is a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage.

After a career working with dogs in a rescue environment Tracy retrained as a canine massage therapist as she realised the benefits of this therapy on the dogs; both physically and emotionally.

I have been working at ECHC for 19 years now and before that I was a Staff Nurse. I started my training in 1981 at The Royal Free Hospital in London. I then became a renal dialysis nurse at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for a short period before working at Papworth Hospital for 10 years where I was a Senior Staff Nurse.

Bob Blair LCH PCH DipAET BCMA

Bob has been working as a Homeopath with Ely Complementary Health Centre since 2001. He has a particular interest in homeopathic education and for several years has been teaching at postgraduate level in various regions of the UK. He also offers food sensitivity testing, and has acquired a wealth of experience in treating patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

Nicki McIntyre BSc MCSP MAACP

Nicki qualified from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2009. Since then she has gained expertise working as a Physiotherapist, in both the NHS and the private sector. She joined Ely Complementary Health Centre in 2014 and is the director of Fit Life Physio. Nicki is a fully Chartered Physiotherapist and is registered with many leading Health Insurance providers.
